G‑d doesn’t need you to report on the dirt in His world.
He sent you here to search out the jewels hidden in the mud, clean them and polish them until they shine.
And when you bring them to Him, the angels make a crown of them for Him, saying, “Look what Your children have made for You out of the mud!”
As the midwife cleans the infant after it is born and hands it to its mother. So we, like the midwives here on Earth, try to bring people with a pure soul into His arms to eternal life.

Neither do I. Hard daily work actually for a common human being. Fortunately, there is another such simple but divine side overbalancing the dirt. So, someday, over the rainbow.... Thank you Rabbi for this reminder helping everyone to persue.

The Crown...
The circle that makes the crown is the circumstance of our lives, and the gold is the love that we have shown to others... The jewels are the mitzvos that we have done...For we are the massagers of His great Love... It is us together that make up the beauty where once only mud and lack stood..It is here that we are able to crown Him Lord...and see the magnitude of this great creation, His never ending Love...

The revelation I got from this word was as Daniel, the prophet did not wrestle against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities and wickedness in high places. What did he do about it? Daniel Humbled himself, Fasted and Prayed and Daniel was privileged, favoured, blessed to receive Divine Encounters. WOW that makes the road illuminated.

Daily thoughts I read your posts every morning when I get to work before the stock market opens, which is the area I work in. It brings tears to my eyes EVERY DAY! It is so beautifuly written! It reminds me of the beauty all around us that we tend to ignore in our rushing through the day! so true I see how everyday obsticals w/ negativity can be looked at in two ways. We can be victims of our own demise or we can see them as our fighting chance for elevation. I choose the latter because when I view it as such I have turned mud into jewels. Reply

Mud has intrinsic value but Jewels have none! there is intrinsic value to mud which has nothing to do with jewels - in fact, jewels are utterly devoid of value compared to the mud they are extracted from - even polished jewels are worthless other than they are pleasing to the eye! On the other hand, mud/earth/soil is critically necessary for survival (i.e. growing food, minerals inside it that are needed for survival, making utensils to hold the food and for storage of food and water, shelter, roads, even places of worship!) so of course, we need to report on the mud! When the early Europeans discovered the New World and subsequently every time they moved further and further "out there" reports always primarily included water availability and the quality of the soil because that told everyone everything they needed to know about this newly discovered land. There is nothing else but G-d. As G-d formed the Divine Mind (mind only exists when there is thought, thinking ) out of nothing, all that is described in Bereshit (Genesis) took place. Because there is nothing else, all was formed from the Creator’s mind, the stars, sun and moon, the earth and other planets, land separated from water, plants seafood, animals, and from animals, humans. Humans were made with a soul, an extension of the Creator himself, like a string, NOT to be taken literally. The Soul is not “inside” the body but above it, and views life through the body’s senses. This caused us to identify with the body due to the “fall”. Identifying with the body is the curse of “death” by which we compete with all. It is the source of the human “ego”, which is our imaginary self. We also realize all we thought of as “Real” was merely conceptual, a narrative.
To realize that we are not in the body, and therefore share in the Divine Ego, we realize the Oneness of All.
